I first met Rich when I started forever home shopping in 2020. Rich was upfront, honest and a shark at getting us into houses. Due to the low mortgage rates and high cost of houses we had to pause our search. I jumped around with different real estate agents between 2021 and 2023. The other real estate agents were not getting me into houses I was interested in. I asked my agent to get me into into a house I saw on Zillow. Since she wouldn’t make the effort to make an appointment. I drove to the house I saw Rich’s sign out side a house that called him. Immediately Rich started catching up making sure my family was doing well. A couple minutes after we caught up he got me into the house. He put in my offer. We had a contract not even a week later. We closed with a VA loan in Les than 2 months. Rich walked me through every single step. He represented both the seller and buyer on this deal. There was a lot of stress on Rich, but he smiled he bent over backwards to appease everyone. Rich even put his own money into helping with making sure the pest control processes was properly done for the va loan to be done correctly. Rich was available 24/7. If he was on the other line I was his next top priority. He was able to take a my calls at 1 am and took time to make a game plane so that we’d have everything ready for closing. Tiffany first arrived at the property during the second half of 2018 when I thought about selling my home. Like many first-time home sellers, I had done some research but didn't have a good handle on the entire process. Tiffany pieced together not only comparable homes from the surrounding areas but formulated a sales strategy which ensured my house stood out to potential buyers. Her plan worked as we had an entire weekend of private showings. The house was on the market for 3 total days before we received an offer $21,000 above the asking price. My wife and I live in Manhattan and were interested in purchasing a coop or condo in Long Beach with an ocean view. We wanted a second home, and we love being near water. Before meeting Richard, another realtor had shown us a number of properties that were nice with good amenities, but had an institutional feel. Richard understood our needs and zeroed in on three properties, two of which we liked instantly. His agency had pre-warned us that demand was high, and that prepared us to move fast. We showed up for a second look at the top property on our list (a condo) with our lender’s pre-commitment letter, and a checking account loaded with enough cash to prove we could cover the likely down payment. That proved useful. As we were leaving our top choice, we noticed other prospective buyers on their way in. We wanted to negotiate and we wanted our offer to be accepted. Richard was very helpful here, suggesting the “magic number” (about 2% less than the asking price). Result proved out his expertise. Equipped with cellphone screenshots of our lender’ s pre-commitment letter and checking balance, Richard worked with the listing broker (helpfully, a colleague at same agency), and got us a verbal commitment within hours. We went to contract, and closed on our condo yesterday. In the 2 1/2 intervening months, Richard remained in contact with us, and made himself instantly available for all of our queries, large and small. For example, when we wanted the comfort of an engineer’s inspection, he provided us a couple of local recommendations; the one we chose was perfect. Richard’s personal style is warm, and his responses hit the core of your question with no B.S. In summary, if you want a straight-shooting yet empathetic realtor to buy through in this area, we both recommend you begin your search with Richard.
